This is a full-time, third shift position. Under the supervision of the Superintendent of Custodial Services, the Custodian performs a variety of manual custodial and maintenance duties in order to provide a clean, orderly and safe environment. Performs related work as required. Demonstrates responsible use of proper cleaning methods and materials in performing duties.

Education and Experience
A High School Diploma or GED is required. Prior experience or knowledge sufficient to demonstrate the ability to perform the job successfully is also required.
1. Ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb 2. Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. 3. Requires average physical strength. 4. Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment as required. 5. Potential for occupational exposure to blood, body fluids, or other infectious/hazardous materials.
1. Knowledge of cleaning terms and safety procedures related to hazardous chemicals. 2. Knowledge of proper building cleaning and maintenance techniques and safety procedures. 3. Ability to follow instructions. 4. Effective communications skills. 5. Basic computer skills.
