The Executive Assistant must possess outstanding organizational and communication skills and be diligently proactive in order to effectively support Hillsdale College’s Assistant Provost for K-12 Education in various administrative capacities. Candidate must have an unambiguous understanding of the mission of Hillsdale College and its philosophy. This position demands high functioning independent administrative, logistical, and clerical practices and a clear sense of business protocol. Duties include: organization and support of office operations with administrative expertise in a professional environment; other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
This position requires a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred) and a minimum of five years’ administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to demonstrate the ability to perform the job.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The Barney Charter School Initiative Office interacts with College staff, visitors, and donors. A neat appearance and a pleasant relationship that is supportive of the College mission are essential. This relationship needs to be supportive and professional while maintaining confidentiality as needed.
