Supervise and oversee the work of gift processing employees to support the Institutional Advancement department in the collection of gifts from donors and contributors to the College. Perform accounting activities that provide financial accountability for the department and follow College policy as well as state and federal laws.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required. Five to seven years of related accounting experience and three to five years of supervisory/managerial experience required or a combination of education, training or experience which fulfills the needs of the College.
1. Ability to build and maintain customer relationships through a professional approach in handling customer service needs, and project a positive image. 2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 3. Skill to operate a computer using a variety of software. 4. Skill in managing employees using tact and diplomacy at all times. 5. Proficient in accounting practices and procedures. 6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software.
Ability to read, write, hear, speak, see and communicate effectively. Ability to operate basic office equipment to include, photocopier, fax machine, adding machine, computer equipment, display monitors and the like. Position is largely sedentary. Occasional lifting of office supplies, booklets, etc. is necessary.
Institutional Advancement frequently interacts with donors, faculty and staff. A clean, neat appearance and a pleasant relationship that is supportive of the College mission are essential. This relationship needs to be pleasant, supportive, and professional, while maintaining confidentiality.
